Yea, i did this ages ago, in italy when i went on tour with my school orchestra.. we where doing it with lemonade (same effect). Its so cool
ive done it so many times now, try putting in two mentos, and shutting the coke, then slamming it on the ground, now thats a bottle rocket ^.^
well, take a peice of paper, and roll it up so its the diameter of the coke cap, then take a peice of paper, and put it on top of the coke, then put the tube you made(tape the tube together) on top of the peice of paper, and put otns of mentos in the tube, then move the peice of paper and watch the mentos pour in

Its cause your combining the mentos with sugar, thats the reason it reacts like that if im not mistaking. Try it with dry ice some time too.
