    Okay, so I open the computer and I get this at the very first start-up screen:

    CMos Checksum Error- Defaults Loaded

    Screen stops, and then I have to press

    F1 = continue

    Anyone know what's going on? I did a Add-Aware and Spybot scan BEFORE I shut the computer off...

    The CMOS is what you save any changes in the BIOS to. It's a big battery on the motherboard. I think you may have changed something in the BIOS, and that's what's causing it. I would reccomend going into the BIOS and resetting it to defaults.

    Replace your motherboard battery.
