Hackers Attacking! Beware!

    I didn't know where else to post this....so if it needs to be moved please do so.

    I just wanted to warn everyone here at Gamerenders, that there is a hacker ruthlessly attacking graphics forums everywhere. Some of the larger forums that have been attacked are........

    Digital Concepts (wiped out)
    Chaos Graphics (gay porn redirect)
    DilutedFX.com (restored & improved)
    BFarber.com (closing)

    And a ton of others that are being reported to me.

    All versions of IPB are in danger. Some are 2.1, and Chaos was 2.0.4.......so none have proven safe as of yet.

    Whoever is doing this is really out to get us, so please....everyone here that are admins & staff of Gamerenders...be on the look-out!!

    wtf well thanx for the heads up, somehow i dont think theyll get into gamerenders tho..........but damn

    yeh theres been lotta of forums being hacked past few weeks really worring to know but thanks for the heads up

    Grrr, is it script kiddies that are doing it? (Just using an already made code)
    Or professional hacker

    Hope they get who it is before alot of others get hit

    alot more than what you say have been hacked :P but hopefully GR is smart and will backup all the shizzle :)

    your only about 10th person to post this. This is stupid, the hackers are from Gamerenders, but they have nothing to do with gamerenders alrite. they are exploiting a error in the Admin CP and deleting all the admin accounts and in most cases almost destroying the board. The only way to overcome them is too download a backup every night, its not hard. Life goes on these things happen and are fixable.

    also Bfarber isnt closing down

    This happens everyday to MONEY MAKING businesses throughout the world.

    It's not the end of life as we know it if we lose a day of post.
