i would never be able to focus on something that long. . .ADD FTW!!! that just seems like a waste of time if i could consentrate on something that long anyways

Um... 28 hours? That would be 28 days if you worked on it 1 hour each day. Longest time a cut took me was maybe 1 hour if you discount talking to other people over msn/aim and getting up to do stuff. That would be my city cut.
Sorry I just hate how people say "This took me 24 hours." When they were masterbating half the time.It just hypes up the cut way to much and unless it looks better than Kazuyas Dragon Render there's no reason to hype it up. I'm sorry if I come off as an asshole but I also do cuts and from experience it's nothing to gloat about. Really the simplest form of graphics (You'd have to be very generous to even call it that) that you can do.

When talking about Render Times in C4D it really varies, my last only was 10 minutes, but i've had some with 16 hours also..

Lol 1 gig ram 256 video really should cut it :P but i must say i got benji, shadows, volumetric light and a sky, mix this with about 50 splines in hyper/loftnurbs and its one hell of a renderparty :P

Oh and yeah sorry i could NEVER spend more than 5 hours cutting images LOL!! (hence why i could never live without gamerenders)

The preview posted above (on different pc) is only a small part of the actual render:P

ps 42 hours now on 66% of the render (e) think it wont take loner than 50 :P i really dont care its not like i need to use those pc's :P

lol im getting excited, the main render is at 90% and 46 hours :D nearly done. the other one is going slow (512mb ram apple ibook *sigh*) and is most likely gonna do 60 hours :( (42hours 50%)

--update (who cares anyway but im bored so meh :P )

main render done..63 hours at 100%. now im waiting on the middle render thats on a 512 ibook thats taking flippin forever. 74 hours and counting at about 85%. its well not worth it probably but it would be a waste of all that elec to just stop it now :P

For a render it's not really necessary to pick so many splines, 10 should really get you the same piece on 3000x3000.
