Anti Virus/firewall

What do you think is the best anti virus and Firewall software ??

I would say McAfee, since it's so renown, and I would trust it anytime!

 

The best Antivirus in my opinion is Kaspersky (KAV) and I have used them all and none of them compare to KAV. Best Firewall would be Sygate, but I don't run a firewall on my computer, because I am behind a router and it has it's own hardware firewall.

 

Antivirus -- Mcafee.
.
Firewall -- Black Ice, OR Zone Alarm Pro. (I've had both, and No one's ever gotten past `em.)

 

I would say Norton

 

yeah, Nortan Antivrus is the best

 

mcafee is the best, norton has crap technical support, you have to pay to talk to tech support at norton.

 

screw all of them norton only has 89% clean rate mcaffee 93& and kaspersky 99.8% so kaspersky for me no missed virus that any other AV's havent picked up

firewall sygate,black ice , or zonealarm all have blocked about 50k intrusions EACH

 

I like norton, cuz i use it

 

For Spy Ware theres one called spy subtract...but its not free :huh:

 

^For spyware you get Ad-aware. Its the best for anti spyware and adware.

 

I use Trend Micro PC-Cillin it doesn't lag your system like all of the programs stated above.

 

For firewall I say sygate I use it and it works really well for me I dont know anything about an anti-virus

 

i would have to say norton for firewall and antivirus, it owns
