Need New Music

    In my ever growing search for the ultamite library of power metal and related metals ihave come to a stand still. the problem is i have run out of bands for me to discover. not because im lazy but because i have run out of sources to find them on. sure there is wikipedia but who would want to use that when you could have word of mouth. here is a list of bands i like andif you could sugest any bands that are similar it would be much apreaciated. you might even find yourself ith a reward if you sugest a large number of bands that i might like. but remember i am only looking for power metal and some related metal genres.

    burn the priest/lamb of god ( same band, they changed thier name after the first album ) is great stuff man.

    im not a huge fan of lamb of god its the vocals that kill me. to me its just screaming where as some of the music i listen to like that is growling and it is also backed heavily by a keyboard ex: dimmu borgir, finntroll

    If you like death metal/screamo, you could get some Killswitch, Atreyu, stuff like that.
    If you're really feeling froggy and want to branch out into "alt-metal," Hank Williams III has an album out called "Straight to Hell," which he calls 'southern metal.' I think it's sweet as hell, but it's not your standard run-of-the-mill metal.

    under no curcimstances will i listen to screamo it just gives me a headache but i will try the guy who you just recomended

    cradle of filth used to be up there but then i started to get massive headaches by the singers constant change between growling and scretching

    Dunno if this is too soft for your tastes, but you should listen to Slayer, Anthrax and perhaps some early Metallica stuff.
