Wayne Rooney has just passed a fitness, which means he can play today, but Sven has said he will not start with him. I think we can expect to see Rooney come on for the last 20 mins, to get a run about and try and gain some match practice. This is great news for our world cup campaign but i think bad news for Theo Walcott as he will now probably become the forgotten man.

Theos a good player but not ready for this yet. Crouch has said he wont be doing the robot again unless he scores in the final.

England have won every game that Peter Crouch has taken part in.

I'd save Rooney as a last resort, keep Crouch on the field for most of the game then maybe have Rooney in for 10-20 minutes.

he is the next generation star of football so he isnt that over rated, anyway if england say the cant win without rooney, fit and playing good then i cant see england holding up the trophie at the end of tournament

How can you support Liverpool but not England? Did you immigrate from another country to England?
