the main that thing makes a tag "pro" is composition. The way its put together. Another thing, is attention to detail, flow, and thought put into it. Alot of tags have things in them that are meaningless, and just there for "fill' it up... its hard to say what makes something pro...but, skill...no one can just pick up something and be pro, so practice, is necessary...
There's different ways of interpreting "pro". There's millions of different styles, so it's pretty complicated to draw the line. Like he said, detail, and preciseness is key.
what makes a pro is an artist of understanding different view points of their work. If there are many bad things about it, u simply start from the begining, but most of all i'd say is effort ^_^
Also, dont feel bad if some1 says ur work isnt pro, different people have different opinions of what is pro.
besides everything said above, high image quality, a very good understanding of general image design - coloring, lighting, text etc. Most pro sigs have a "wow" factor that is hard to describe.
gradient background c4d renders c4d renders duplicated, blurred then set on lighting gradient maps thats your average pro sig
Something that I see as making a sig 'pro' is having an understanding of how light works. It's not as easy as it looks to give a sig a light source, then actually make the rest of it look right. I'm still working on this myself because I think it's very important.
thats what they usually are. but there are too many tuts on those. im starting to rate those as 7's and low inter at most.
