Just thought I should throw this out...especially with the iPod craze sweeping the nation.

Podestrian (n) : A person who walks around with the trademark white earbuds in his ears. A blend of iPod and pedestrian.

    Oh My God.
It's going a bit far now when they have names.
I don't have one, they look cool, do a good job, but price isn't practical for me =P

I didn't want to mess around with multiple discs, nor did I want to be restricted to Sony's propreitary ATRAC3 format. So I got an mp3 player. I don't think the iPod is merely a fashion statement, though people are doing that nowadays. Apple really makes quality music players, and the iPod is no exception. And it looks great too.

People at school thinks what kind of "cool" and "special" personiality they have walking around with a apple iPod. Good job as*holes, I'm glad to know you people can suck down cool from MTV's nipples and you have such a unique personity because every other fu*king person in school has a "iPod".

Creative Nomad Zen Xtra all the way.

They look nice and sleek, but I'd rather spend less money and get an mp3 player that is a better size for the amount of songs I listen too. It only needs to be a small player, that will play the songs I like and im Happy.

^I have the Zen Touch. I guess I'm not as cool as you, kickin' it old-school'. Zen Xtra is a crazy bargain though. 40GB for less than Apple's 20GB.

Thats is because Creative doesn't spend millions of dollar on advertising and trying to suck down stupid teenage population these days. I hate iPods ONLY because people think it is a fasion statement, not realizing that it is just a different kind of CD player. Then again, people are unbelivabliy stupid these days.

People forget iPod plays mp3s just like EVERY OTHER FU*KING mp3 players.

You know what I got with the same $300 you spent?

    Creative Zen Touch - $220
    JBL Creature 2.1 Speakers - $50
    Silicone Carrying Case - $20

$290 for the mp3 player, case, and speakers.

Yeah the Zen Xplorer or w/e sucks. I just use WMP10. It has support for almost all the Creative things. ;)

    *WMP = Windows Media Player
