Many people these days seem to post low-pro everywhere, what is up with that.
Half the topics that say low-pro on it happens to be really noobish.
And it's insulting the actual low-pros in some sort of way.
Is there something we can do about it?

Get a grip, and understand that diffrent people have diffrent opinions about sigs? Try to tell them if your opinion is that the sigs are not low pro, or whatever. But don't be so mean about it, they have an opinion just like you. :)

    Ehm...

But yeah, even some people couldn't use them right.
I gave some out in another site, (I was one of those super noobs until I found this site, I was just visiting again)
And they did not know what to do with them.

I seem to understand it but, when people just throw something together and calls it low-pro, it's annoying, it's insults the actual low-pros, and it wastes time searching for a good tag.

The onoly thing i can suggest here is something like a forum where you are able to rate other epople.

    One actual practical suggestion:

Come up with some type of a script where a poll is autmattically made to members who want to be rated, then people are able to rate that person, adn the first rating that gets to 15 .. Wheather it be novice, pro, semi pro inter etc.

Or just a graphics advisor like stated before.
I like that idea, but then it'll kinda be like the "your stuff" forum.
    Or kinda like NSL.

    Huh?
I'm just talking about why people post tags/sigs that clearly not semi/low-pro, and call it semi/low-pro.

i'll be breif... there is mabye 5-6 true professional designers on the forums meaning they can make small images aswell as LPs.

Alot of intermediate people... mabye 90% of these boards.

and the people who call themselves "Semi-Pro" usually turn out to be moderate.

i tell everyone the truth... i know myself i would fall into the low inter cat... since i rate art on a daily basis, like sacrifice looking at your tag i would rate you mabye in the mid mabye pushing high inter.

with the current trend of "blurry shiny c4d whoreness" many consider themselves semi pro. at first, when the trend was new, they could be considered, but now it is very annoying seeing them everywhere. If u want to be considered a pro, lets see you go apply for the private forums.
