It's too bad, but for myself: I don't always respond to used tutorials either, although it sux.

I have my own site, and when i post a tutorial, i get 0, yes 0 comments on it (last i got comments on something was like 5 tutorials ago), but i dó know people watch it, followed it (saw some results), now already a couple of thousand views, but still nobody has commented it. I realised that i just had to get my "reward" for people being happy and coming back.

Hells Yes! If you waste your time to make a tut or something and give it away for free, you should get some respect or credit for it. You could easily be uptight and sell it for credits. I -rep everyone who's tuts i use and find usefull :)

If you are posting a tutorial for free you shouldn't ask for rep or credits, the only thing you need is to know that people used it and are happy with it.

I see..... but people keep throwing in the word "Credits." When I mentioned "Credit" I meant the credit you get with a reply or plus rep and everything. I never have nor do I want people to "give" me credits.

As much as I like the rep, I wouldn't expect it after posting something, no matter how good it is.

Another thing is, if you got credit/rep for every generous act, then rep wouldn't be as valuable as it is right now, and if they were credited, then maybe the credit situation might be even worse. <_<

    rep isnt valuable right now...

im known far more than alot of people here with a lot of rep...

besides, if your a good rendered, you can rack up a few hundred rep in a couple of months without a big problem...

Yeah. I don't render. I am more known in the Computing section =X

I guess I was leaning more toward if everyone else had the same problem.
