    Yeah, its definitely time to seriously start thinking of switching.

    Thought it would belong in this section and that some of you might want to know.

    pbth, there are cracks for Genuine Advantage...

    plus, you can disable alot of crap, not that hard...

    True WGA was cracked within 24 hours of release, and you can disable a lot of things, but if you didn't know it did that and you didn't know how to stop it ......

    Who cares...? That ---- don't tell them anything anyways... they stated so, if they are cought lying that is making a public release statement that is untrue. So, that would land THEM in deep ----, not us. Besides, like mentioned earlier, it can be shut down on your system.

    even a while after it was activated..

    If they have been doing it over a year ive never noticed anything so im not really bothered. Only the slightest bit do i mind.

    I already did. I set zonealarm to kill it every time it tries to start up.

    what are you talking about?

    yeah, it does have Intigrated stuff, but the integrated stuff doesnt slow it down..

    The intigrated stuff in a Linux box is MUCH different from the intigrated stuff in a MS box. MS is trying to see what the users are 50 50% using their computers for. Linux is just making sure you don't need another update. Nothing too big there. Besides, they run on two different bases... so there is no need to even bring them up together.

    Well it still makes me think less of microsoft, I mean.. seriously. They could have told us and not have it be a top secret thing.
