Liquidgfx Now Hacked

but about "there is always a reason"...whats the resaon tell me? I want to know...

 

My site hacked twice today.

First off it was on a 2.0.4 then he hacked my 2.1.6

 

Klik was also some1 on shout cause thats what 2 of the admins names was changed to.

 

Sigh...

damn that suks..... y don't people just update their boards so it can't get hacked

 

i cant answer that, as I dont know, but I know that mav wasnt involed in the cracking/destruction of that site, if you were in the IRC (and logic/swat can check logs later) then you could see that it wasnt him, the people doing it were posting it publically that they did it.

 

Whats the point my 2.1.6 got hacked.

Its gotta be some1 from here or they would hack gr. But they wouldn't because people would kill there arse

Complete truth. Their motive wasn't to make GR the only "real gfx site" like so many people have been saying, but I'm not getting any further into it. Personally, I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't post threads like this Michael or anyone else. You're giving a bad light on GR's community that isn't needed or true, it's simply a few people being dicks (although I'm friends with one) for personal reasons.

 

Because some people are too lazy.
Or they have mods with they still want, and aren't avalible for the updated IPB.
Because when there is a IPB update, it's always rather big.

 

Tbh, ipb should sort this problem out, we are paying customers, we are not paying for this bullcrap.

 

Yep i agree, is it in the Terms of Service or any contracts though..

 

This should go into off-topic. But they should make it safer. Alot safer.
