ok, I have used Gmail for quite a while, and they have a setting in there when you download messages to outlook, it keeps a copy on the net.

how can i configure that in Yahoo? I cant find it...

you download your messages using Outlook

you see your messages in Outlook

you go online, you login to Yahoo Mail, you see all the messages you also see on Outlook

    ^how do you do that^

I wish I could help you out, but I let my subscription to YM Plus expire. But I believe there was an option in your Options panel where you can choose how long the messages stay on Yahoo's servers after being downloaded with Outlook, or any other email program.

Actually, I know for a fact there is, because I remember trying to figure out how to get Yahoo to mark the messages I downloaded as read.

This probably didn't help you out much, but it's there, I promise. :)
