Skyline In The Us

    so why is the skyline not street legal in the US, it is one of the coolest cars ever and its not even freaking street legal where i live now what is up with that i mean come on people its just a car, yeh you might be able to out run cops and all that but you can do that with a street bike if you have the guts lol, so post your comments are reasons why it is outlawed cause i really never knew....

    nice cars. Um aren't most of the drivers seats on the right not left?

    to import skylines doesnt it also have to be over 15 years old

    The Skyline isn't Legal in Holland also :( to bad though cuz its an really nice car.

    I'm sure i read somewhere you have a max bhp limit on your roads, and the skyline exceeds that.

    Move to germany... and go on the U-Bahn(i think thats it... the sweet highway) there is no speed limit so you can get the full out your skyline without any cops down your ass =D

    the only reason its illegal in the US is because its right-side-drive. BUT you can pay U.S customs a huge ass wad of cash (about 200K) for them to make legal to be in the U.S. (left-side-drive)... where i live, i host these race wars type races, they are dragraces, and people from all over the U.S come to L.A and every month, there are about 4-8 Nissan Skylines, all different years.

    I don't think it's illegal because of the speed alone. I mean, look at all the other fast cars that are street legal here-- Rolls-Royce's Phantom, Mercedes' McClaren, Cadillac's [insert anything with NorthStar engine here], Chevy's Camaro Z28 (the thing will bury 100 in 4th gear and still have 2 to go. o.o;).
    For a foreign car, though, those things will fly. Blow Honda's little Civic and Prelude out of the water.

    Skylines - Yes my cousin got a black one so sexy unbelievable - Derby my hometown

    Ferrari

    Lambourghini - My friends cousin got one

    Mercedes Mclaren in London

    Corvette

    Really depends on the driver's record and how he will drive it - I've seen these cars myself as I go visit my cousins in like most major cities :D
