hey, what are they? lol. I see some posts that say "effect" c4d renders that are great for sigs...what are they? different than just normal c4d deformed and stuff? plz!
Effects renders are... for effects, they usually come with black background. You can set them to different layer options - screen, lighten etc. It is not meant to be a focal point of a piece of work. Like you really wouldn't want to use it for large art, it's just to make special lighting, shapes, effects in your art. Lot of debate going on about it because it's not really creating something. You just slap it in the sig, set to screen and add render, some adjustment layers etc. However, truly talented people can make it look like they didn't use any or turn it into something miraculous. And then there are those who can make sigs that look like they use c4d but they don't. There's a ton of free ones in resources atm, so try them out for yourself if you like.
So those are the ones that you should use when tutorials say "Now add some C4D in and set it to Color Dodge etc."\ Kk, thx! Are there any good tuts for those renders? All the ones I see are just to make abstract ones not really good for sigs.
