What do you mean with fix? Do you have wireless internet? Try getting a netmeter, which shows how much you download/upload. ie:http://readerror.gmxhome.de/

And if you cant find any other programs, you'll have to format. When was the last time you defragged and formatted?

Have you tried going to a computer forum such as computercops or tomcoyote and posting your hijack this log. They usually can help you out without having to reformat. It will take some time for them to reply but do as they say and your system should be ok. All you need to do is get hijack this and put it in it's on folder in program files and run the program and then save the log and copy & paste it to their forum.

Did you run a online scan? if not you should try housecall or symantec.

    security.symantec.com

@john: I guess it's b/c mine is setup differently b/c it doesn't give me that option when I use msconfig.

alright I'm going to tell you right offI'm suspended so I won't be helping much via the forum as I don't want to disrespect the ass who suspended me by circumventing his authority.
