ok think about it...the 7950 benchmarks roughly the same as SLI 7900 GTX 512Mb...and is roughly 800$ (CDN) compaired to 570$ each for a 7900 GTX...so for what it is, its good value...and what it is...is a blinding fast video card that comes pretty much out of box SLI ready...so for the person who wants crazy good video card then that would be a good option
it actually benches behind them, their core speed is clocked down.furthermore a single 7900GT is enough to max out most games for half the cost and the 7950GX2 won't really live a longer life before being obsoleted. because the person who made this thread wasn't smart enough to go back and actually check
if I'd buy a 79xx card, then the 7900 GTX 512. don't need SLI or 4 gfx-cards, just a waste of money imo.
you have no idea... Xelink knows, man, and he doesn't need your crap... anyway, back on topic... yes, it really is a waste of money...
yo explain how the graphics cards work. like how can you tell if your buying a good graphics card or not...like how much MB it says? do you tell how good it is the same as ram?
Read around really, reviews posted all over the place on different cards, they probably all have good and bad points to them just finding the right one for you.
You know i would take that as an insult, but after the exam ive just had im to F----d off to care anymore. But still just google them and read user reviews.
well dude honestly what you said didnt help me at all. but whatever. heres a rep for trying. and best wishes on your exams
Thanks, dude, what exactly did you want to know on the graphics cards, alot of the top end ones are nearing the same sorts of things on them pixel shaders etc, boards are getting smaller are good which improves heating on them. The ram on them is important ofcourse like the geforce 7800 GTX has 512 ram so it can stand up to the 7900 GT, but this card only has a 256 on it. That may have helped a little, maybe not.
