New rules : Dont do it, it doesnt work Dont do it, it doesnt work Dont do it, it doesnt work Some people reading this thread will be in online relationships, get out of them, now. Regardless of what you say or how much you...heh, "Love" them, it wont work.
My point exactly. Online relationships suck!! You never know WHO you are talking to!! A guy named Dick Harrinson could be posing as your lovely Jessia Rebloi..LMFAO!
if you dont have the time to go out looking for someone in real life, you obviously dont have the time to put into the relationshp, therefore you dont even deserve one. get out, fresh air can do you some good...
I'll have to say a word or two. It can work, yes. It takes time, trust, and a lot of effort. I am now living with my boyfriend whom I met online via World of Warcraft, and online role playing game. As dorky as that sounds, we're doing just great. It was hard in the begining, but turned out so worth it in the end. So it's possible. It just takes efforts. (And yes I realize the loser I sound like typing this message.) I'm not encouraging them by any means mind you, especialy for younger crowds. Like they said above, in real life ones are MUCH better, and much easier. Over the internet you don't really know who you're talking to, like I said it takes a lot of trust, effort, and even faith. I didn't date my current until I met him in real life, however we both had feelings. If you do an online relationship, when it comes to meeting them, be smart about it. Meet in a public place, take friends with you, a group of 2 or 3 is best(Mixed Sexes). And be questionable about every action, to get to know what you're getting into.
Nicely put by Samantha. See kids. Now you perverts can go ahead and date virtual girls! PS: No offence to Samantha!
Still think it's wrong and pathetic, even if you went with friends , he could have... And your how old? My god.
No offense but sound pathetic meeting via world of warcraft "Hey your Night Elf looks hot wanna ----?"
Agreed. Also, Sam, no offense, but you just recently turned 17 and your living with a guy you met online in a MMORPG? I take it youve only been dating since probably 16 some time... Meh, I wont go into it, I will just get suspended for voicing my honest opinion on the subject. Its still utterly pathetic to even be looking for someone or accepting of love online (meaning anything that eventually comes to a relationship or "love", in the real world or not). If he was local (like it seems he was) you could have gone out with friends more often and youd eventually have seen him (unless hes a WoW hermit, like so many WoW players are).
