Well apparently whenever someone posts a topic there's always another person that comes in and says it's been posted before or they already know and it's old. Well I'm pretty sure no one comes on GR to search ".Bat File Pranks" and if it's been posted before then thumbs up to that person.
For those that have seen it... if all you're going to say is "I've seen it before." don't bother... I think that you're Uber cool for seeing this before me.

Well to get to the point. Afew months ago I was searching around on a website I go to and found some cool .Bat file pranks. They aren't Viruses or anything but are simple .txt files saved as FILENAME.bat. When someone opens these files it gives their computer specific orders such as to shut down, log off, shut down and restart, shut off all running programs, etc.
I don't know if GR would be too keen on me posting the codes used for it, etc. So what i will do is post a file I made myself today as an example and those who are interested p/m me and I'll give you the details.
Cred is appreciated as I will give you a full tutorial through p/m or AIM.
    Example
    http://tinyurl.com/qrm3w
    ^ Rapidshare or Megaupload
    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HPDWM82Q
I hosted it on rapidshare as I don't have a host. It's not even 1 kb so the download will be instant. Simply download the file and launch it. Virus scan it all you want trust me I did nothing to it. It's a simple 5 lined 100+ character txt file saved as .bat.

Well open it up and see the sample file I made. You can also use it at school. If your school is running an XP (only works with XP I believe) it will send messages to all pc in school (whatever you want the message to be).

Actually that command isn't available. There is only so much you can do with it. About 10 letter commands which mostly deal with shutting pc off. It doesn't have the capability to do all that. Trust me I've been doing this for a while and if there was a way to do it I would know. It only performs simple actions.

    Merged Post:

Although the .Bat file I have up there pops up with a message box reading: Your C:\ Drive has been infected and curropted by a virus. Windows is shutting down to prevent total loss of data.
It's all for fun and games. Your PC starts a 30 second countdown (you can also change the countdown time) and the pc shuts off.
