I loved cart pushing, you could always go to our deli at wal-mart and get the barbecue chicken chunks or the chicken tenders and stuff and siply walk back to the break room and eat for hours without any of the management getting mad at us (the most all 6 of us got at one time was over $60 worth of food) and then just go back out and push in some carts and come back inside... good ol' cart pushing days at wal-mart... that or wed all leave and head up to mcdonalds or something... that job was so laid back... but if we needed excitement wed take a cart down to the creek and beat it up with a concrete pole... was fun...
well at target they onyl schedule oe person to push like 4000 carts at a time... and yes I technically have taken food from the deli but not that much... I've also eaten pizza with my coworker in his car on the clock but still... 90% of the time it's too damn busy to fvck off
for us, there was always 5, at all times in the day. usually wed take shifts of 1 person wandering through the store or elsewhere, 2 in the back or in the mcdonalds/subway and 2 in the lot and wed switch off every hour... we never had a problem with not being able to clear to lot, especially not at night (i worked the 6-10pm shift before i went full time, then i worked the 2-10pm shift)
