I recently bought a new monitor. Its an LG 1952 19inch flast screen. However, now when I load up photoshop, a box pops up and says: "The monitor profile "LG 1952TX" appears to be defective. Please rerun your monitor calibration software" Im pretty sure my monitor didnt even come with software. I havent had problems with my monitor before, i play games like fear, wow, ect and they all look amazing. When I go into PS7 my color palet is messed up. THere is no white, its yellowish. Anyway, has anyone else had this problem before? Any suggestions? Thanks.
might be an issue with adobe gamma loader, try disabling that temporarily and see if ti fixes it, other than that I can't think of anything, pretty much every single monitor runs the same so I'd be surprised by this, maybe yours has a weird screen resolution or something...
When I had a LG monitior and used PS 7 it said that I just clicked dont show this messgae and ignore, worked fine. Thinks it is more a problem with PS 7. I use CS 2 now and it says nothing.
again if it looks yellow ish, mess with gamma... right click desktop, go to monitor properties advanced and mess around in there until the colors look corrected. also, set the constrast to max on your monitor, and then set the lightness as high as it can with the black still being truely black...
Hmm ok thanks. I will just get the newest version of PS, i dont even know why im using 7 I will try that and if that dont work then i guess my life is over
