i would suggest looking up some surrealist artists like Magritte or Dahli on art.com or google images. they really got me going on a new style to take me off the c4d trend that plagues this site.

Don't look for something inspiring, let it comes out. True inspiration comes when you are not thinking of it. Go out, play soccer with friends, watch TV, play games. But whatever everyone says, don't LOOK for inspiration, let it come for you.

Whenever you look at DA godly pieces or anthing else, you are trying to get something out of it, and then copy it rather than making your own. Never get inspiration from another artist. When looking at someone else piece, enjoy it. Don't try to understand it nor try to whore it, just.... appreciate it. I too have a "artist block" but I don'T get stressed with it.

It's the same when you show off your things, don't ask for constructive comments, ask what people feel about your piece. Art is a way to express yourself, and "think outside the box". Don't get in what we call trends. Don't follow up tutorials, try it in your way...

Here's a few things you can do to help you out.

Once you get an idea, or a LITTLE thing that you think might be relaly nice in a piece, open up Paint, draw it so YOU can understand it. Then, in a notepad, type in what steps you ened to take to make that effect onto photoshop with a great quality. Ask for people what they think of the basis idea, and look for some more inspiration. Just ask, don't show anything beside text. Get some more inspiration, type in your steps you need to take to achieve your piece, and then go for it.

    just my 2 cents

Yep listen to music. If your up to it try to stay away from sigs and PS for a while. Then when you come back all refreshed you should have some ideas.
