ok look, most of you will not remember me, or never seen me arround here before,but i have been here.Ive been away a few months, lack of time i suppose,and now i come back, feeling to see nice artwork , and i see all htis "give me credits" or "donate to (insert name here) fund...WHAT IS THIS!? Id like some feedback from the people who have been arround longer maybe?
Well, people sell sigs for credits, and people battle people for credits. I might not have been around longer than you (wait, yes I was), but from my point of view, thats what I see. And if you see like the adds and the "please donate credits to the _____ fund" in peoples signiture space, thats because some people have gone almost completely broke. A nd seeing as how we are "supposed" to be a "nice graphics community" (which I can say, that most of us arent that way) people might be nice enough to doneate credits. I have one in my profile, becuae I bought a new name. I have 500 in the bank but I paid it to ------ to give me free hosting which never worked for me. Anways, thats what it basically is.
well, if we start giving creds to everyone, no one will have any creds... a friend of mine , when i was here (archangel) got money stolen,(i think you can steal money by buying this thing in shop) he was in the negative zone, 198creds under zero, so made it up to him by giving him the creds, it wasnt much.but you know, helping people out is different then people begging to get money...but yet still, people will always beg everyehere you go....
Well, thats what people mean when they ask for credits. They are asking people to help them out, not begging. And you really didnt make a clear distinction between the two, begging and asking people to help them out. There really isnt any argument there, obviously. But, I think, that if people need credits, they should say words like Please, or help out. Rather than give me credits. I need them. anyways, thats my veiw on the whole issue.
nice too see you back simon but i have too agree with you, somebody started people saying ' Give me creds if you use' it always used too be that they only got creds if they like it not if they use it

Its the n00b generation, u know wat i mean? ALl these People with less than 200 Posts all Ask Fro Creds, we Need to Orientate these suckaz some more. =D It doesnt bother me cuz i always ignore, only when ppl do that in Renders then It pisses me off cuz im a resected render and dont ask for creds or nuffing. Then these kids come one make a render of Kirby or sum shit and ask for creds or Rep WTF! Rep AInt EVen Currency damn it
my thoughts exactly. if you get burned playing with fire you can sit on yer burned arse. and like Gez mentioned, i credit when I save the image. not "if or when" i will use it. and if there are 5 renders in one thread, credit accordingly. and then some peeps have the gall to say :"you could have put all 3 of them in one post" jeez... nah man, let the guy/girl earn 4 creds by uploading the 3 renders in seperate posts. first : the render will be on GR database, allways available. 2. at least that makes 4creds he/she'll get for all those peeps that just hit&run WTF! most peeps want credz doesnt know how to make sigs... so they need credz to buy sigs... but i dont see why peeps are soo obsess with credz... i want credz because i have a goal... MY GOAL: make enuff money and buy a "Change user title" but when i saw the "Steal bank credits" i bought it instead of "Change user title"... now im screwd.... and i have to pay what i did..... and start a new beggining.. after i reach my goal.. then **** credits and im gonna increase my reputation... by doing stuff like... getting rare images and make an image pack.... "click on my reputation to see my image pack.
That "steal bank" concept is interesting. Doesn't it actually motivate people to beg for credits? :huh:
yea this forum has changed alot since i was last here. it went down a couple months ago and i didn't know what happened. then i got bored last month and decided to see if it was working cause i was cleaning out my favorites and i'm back. yea back then it was all about graphics nuttin but graphics. credits was just a thing to use on the side. i remember the name change was like 750 or sumtin of that sort.
