The Omen?

I'd say it definitely has been revised. I've heard somewhere that some king from ages ago took out an entire book because he didn't think it should be there. Could be an unreliable source I got that from, though.

So, let me get this straight... the number 666 was added to a newer version of the Bible? They just added something to their holy book, what their beliefs are based off of? Unless I'm mistaken, that's pretty damn ridiculous.

 

Before the information presented was correct, but the stipulation of the number 666 representing "the beast" was not incorporated officially into the bible, it must have been added to the revised versions (the newest version is the NIV version, aka New International Verson) which was established in 1986, so its not so much "new" but it is still new for the length that the bible and the religion of christianity has run for lol.

Heh, yeah the version I read when I was younger was the NIT version. I never read all of Revelations, just certain parts, so I either missed that part or just didn't remember it.

I got to say, have anyone of you seen the trailer for that movie, it's scary. Especially when that lady jumps off the house and hangs herself. Man, this movie is probabbly going to be one of the scariest movies of the Summer.

 

whats so bad about sacrificing yourself for the anti-christ? people do it for stupider reasons everyday... like for aliens...

in case you were wondering, Damien (the kid) is the anti-christ in that movie, if youve seen the old omens then you would know its a series of movies about the anti-christ/a very evil child. Those who commit suicide/sacrifice themselves were corrupted by his aura, highy religious people believe that you can be touched by both god and satan and the aura has the same sensual feel, but the actions exerted while under the influence are dramatically different.
