if those are your first tags, you havewhat it takes to make good tags, they actually look decent bro, just remember to keep doing tutorials and expirementing with PS, to learn all the parameters ( im not even close........lol ) check the tut section for the topic " tutorial wetness ", great stuff there for you to learn. A few pointers I hope it helps you m8 =D

1 - blending, make the stock / render part of the BG by blending / erasing with a 65px softbrush at low opacity.

2 - when you add text, try to keep it together and small, so it doesnt steal the human eye away from the focal point

3 - try messing with adjustments more.........ie; color balances / gradient maps / levels / so on so forth

4 - try to utilize and learn all the filters, they can do some really neat things, and add a lot of flash to your tag.

5 - look for "DEFAULTS" tutorials, so you dont have to download brushes, PS already has the ones you really need

I hope this helps bro, keep doing tuts and I'm sure you will be making awesome gfx in no time =D

BTW i like the FMA tag ftw =)

I gotta agree, those are damn good for your first work, even from tutorials.

done any graphics work before? it would seem like you're not unfamiliar with PS.

keep it up and you'll be creating your own stuff in no time ^_^
