How To Take Screenshot Of Video?

    Is there a way to take a screenshot of a running video such as one in windows media player or realplayer? When I press "print screen/sysrq" button during the video, and open it in Paint. It just shows a black square instead of the image.

    I would try softwares like PowerDVD or WinDVD. They have a feature where you can take a screen shot of the particular section of the video you want captured. Print screen won't work to take screen shots from a player.

    yeah, i have both PowerDVD and WinDVD and it has those functions

    Get Windows Media Player Classic. It is just like the old Windows Media Players, but has more codec's and can open a lot of file types. It also has this screenshot function...

    File -> Save Image

    thanks. I always tried Print Screen, and like the image would move in photoshop or something. but PowerDVD works. thakns for that other program though
