No, I didn't read any of your posts. I just assumed what they would say and based my replies off of that. /sarcasm

I highly doubt the rule would be overturned because a group of greedy credit-hungry people cry foul.

By saying thats my only reason to why i hate the rule can only show you havent read my posts. I have given several reasons to why it is retarded, and that happened to be one of them. Never did i specify it was my most hated

I never said that was your only point, that's the one that stuck out in my head so I ran with it.

The basis of the rule is to benefit the community AS A WHOLE. Not having the rule in place, going with all your points, would benefit people like you only. Not everyone. Can you honestly say you have the best interests of the entire community in mind? No, you yourself said you only come here for the competition, which in all reality isn't competition because it's simply you wanting more credits in the end. Is it not?

It is really retarded. It is not because I sell tutorials, I don't. It's because people should be able to put a value on their own work. They should be able to sell anything including an avatar for 1mil credits or as low as 1 credit. It should be up to them. Nobody is forcing you to buy it.

Dosen't matter to me. I lmao when people foam to the mouth about it because they sell crappy tutorials. What they don't realize is more buyers is better then a higher prize.

If you want to show the true community i suggest removing the credit mod altogether. See who sticks around for the community and not the credits, or the "greed" as you call it. Do you really think GR would survive without credits? I highly doubt it... and by limiting the MAIN source of any income and trade of credits to 50 you're putting it near the point where credits are worthless.

No, i dont have the community in mind. I didnt join GR for the community... i joined to learn, sell, buy, and have fun. How fun is it to spend countless hours on something only to give it out for free? I dont work that way...

Yes, i do want more credits... who the ---- wouldnt! Are you telling me that if someone offered you 10,000 credits right now for free you wouldnt take them? If you would, "it means your greedy".

It appears the rules here to stay, so i am not. I will be here for the next week or 2 in order to collect all my tutorials that are being made (and now are ----ing pointless), and sell them with my account.

I bid you all farewell... i will not post very often, if any, for the next week.

Says YOU. What you dont realize is pros can sell their stuff for 200+ credits and get 20+ buyers. 4000 credits.
Now what pro is going to sell their tutorial for 50 credits and get a turn out of 4000 credits without their style being whored?

But then pro's would be giving out better styles/techniques which would rather be wanted in quantity of purchase instead of qantity of buyers in order to not get that style around everywhere.

When you sell your tutorial, it's going to be whored, there's no two ways around it. People who learn it and have friends here will start giving tips on the new style they learned and soon people will figure out a different way to get the same type of result. It's always been that way and it always will be that way. If somebody thinks they'll sell their tutorial to say 15 people and not get it whored at least a little bit, then they're an idiot.

Btw Dream30., there's a difference between showing the true community and benefiting the community. Tuts have become the main thing being sold, yes. However there's still ways and things to sell to make credits otherwise. How do you think things worked before people started selling tuts like crazy? Back in September and even October, you didn't see ANY tutorials being sold. Everyone put theirs up for free and mainly good designers made them so it was always exciting when a new one popped up. Are you so fixated on tutorials that you can't see there's other things you can sell? Everyone wants credits, yeah sure. They want them but it isn't always the basis of being here, they don't live off the damn things here. Should've worded it differently earlier, but whatever. I'm done with this conversation.

I voted, i love it, because i am new, and dont see why people sell things like tutorials anyways.

Idk about you, but if i get better and write tutorials, and everyone whoreds my style, ill feel proud that everyone likes my work and they want to be just like me....
