i took off the heatsink. evened out the thermal paste layer on the heat sink and proc, made sure it was clamped down the tightest it could be. im still going to use the AS-5 when it comes since im sure that paste is better. Merged Post: still on the little hot side. high 50s to high 60s. but still much better. can do processes much better. example: super pi. you can see my updated time in the super pi thread.
