and hell, its all about multiplication, Cheaper Tuts - More Affordable for all - Less waiting for saving up for them - More customers - Less time - Those credits + the other ones squared carry the x and add y and then you get a lotta creds Q.E.D
im no pro, but even im not staying because of it.... i dished out a couple thousand for full rights to psds and tuts, and now im going to make 1/5 of it back from selling it for 50 credits. Its a joke...
Lets try putting this bluntly here, since no one picked up on the hints made in the latest news thread about this. We are in the process of pulling credits out of circulation. How we are doing that, well you will have to wait and see. But we are pulling them out, gone, bye bye, vanish, no longer exist. How does that affect credits? It makes a smaller amount of credits, worth a whole lot more.
so whats happens to those people with 10,000 + credits? They go from a cost of $50 to $100? Is that fair to the people who purchased things just before the change? I just spent about 2000 credits on tutorials and psds, and if i could get refunded i would. Bring my credit could to around 3500, and i could sell that for $35 rather than 17ish.
Dream, by removing 50% of all credits that doubles the remaining credits worth, so 50 credits will be worth what 100 credits were before they were removed... the USD will be the same for the value of the creds...
So someone is going to go through 67,000 members credits, and half them from every person? The credits a person on hand remain the same... so those with 10,000 credits will still have 10,000 credits. With less credits in circulation, the ratio will change, it will most likely go back to where it was (1:100). So if someone has 10,000 now, and was to sell them tomorrow, they would make $50. However, if they decide to sell them when the ratio drops, they would make $100. How thats fair to the people who JUST spent a couple thousand is beyond me.
Since when is life fair Dream? Take the hit and quit bitching about something that doesn't matter in the long run.
Can you explain to me what the whole point of this was again? To my knowledge, it was to give new members a FAIR chance at getting tuts. By saying life isnt fair, why change the rules to be fair to the new members? Lets all go tell the new members life isnt fair, and to stop bitching about high tut prices.
Yes, but in life everyone has the chance to advance. Here, new members can barely, if at all, get the resources they need to better themselves and be able to succeed here. See what I mean?
lol i feel for you dream, But theres no need to get angry man, Hopefully they will make a fair deal for you because the whole point of this is for fairness More votes plz
actually its quite easy to get the resources they need, they post on the forums a little and they have creds! Then there is also the free tutorials on here, a lot of which are very good. Once again I don't agree witht this rule, but I don't really care that much
I came here when the ration was 1:100, and people had 10,000 credits. A year later and im still here, with enough credits to better myself. Go to the premium tutorials, using ONE of those will make you 1 sig.... that 1 sig can make some credits (say 100 if it was just mediocre). That 100 credits can buy you a tutorial, that tutorial teachs you to make 1 sig, you make 1 sig, you sell it for 150 credits this time.... amazing you've went from 0 to 150! Continue and you got yourself among the elite.
