His parents probably pay for it? I dunno I'm 14, get $8/hr working 3 hours a day. No way I'd pay 1400 for a projector.

Parents? I have never seen my dad. Do I want to? No.

No, my mom does not pay for it all... she pitch in? Hell yeah she pitches in, but just because she does doesn't mean ----. Dude, I mow yards and I trim bushes, I pressure wash porches, and I clean gutters. Naw, I don't do this all the time. But, the money is out there. Yeah, I have a nice amount of CRT monitors too, hell, I actually have a Tube TV left in my house (EWW) so, I strive. But, my mom never pays 50%. She may pay 49% but it is always half if I need something.

Also, I am not "Wealthy", and I don't expect anyone to think I am. I also am not poor by any means. I am only suggesting the deal of the projector as compared to that, in no way am I stating you should go out and buy it. Just think for a second, that's all.

BTW people... for the equivelant of a projector at 60" at 1400 USD, you have a Plasma TV (60"). What does the TV run you? It will run you around 4K or so. SAME PICTURE QUALITY. As well as bulb life and plasma life. They are about tied now. Wonderful technology.

One more thing to make my case. Not only can you use this as a monitor for you computer but you can, play games on it from PS2/PS3/XBox VIA Composite connections and RGB. You also have THE BEST connection out right now... a DVI (Radeon x1900xtx, nVidia 6600+ standard). So, honestly, think about what you are getting first.

Makes a DAMN good HDTV as well. ;)

AKW what is with all the add?

I posted about a 19" screen and you come back with buy a projector, and then about how you mow yards and trim bushes and you've never seen your dad?

In the least rude way, no one cares what you do to make money, or that you have a rideing mower k?

    end.

If you don't see how we got to this point then you need to pay more attention... ROFL... you say your POS monitor is a good deal, I find better and post it, so it is a projector. So, someone said it was outragouse because they thought it was 14000 but it's only 1400 so, my deal is better. Then they kept talking about how the ---- no one affords ----. So I told them to work. Then they said my mom buys it for me. Then Diablo and I start our own conversation about how he couldn't and how he needs a riding mower... WTF? Was that so God Damned hard to figure out?

BTW... I don't give a ---- what you want to know and don't know... maybe we didn't need to know about the ----ing monitor... nor did we care what the ---- the prices were on NewEgg. But, you were the one who started this conversation, so we conversated, now it's over. So, shut the ---- up. =)
