Wouldn't surprise me if the only reason Shaggy bought this forum is to make money. Think about it, GR gets alot of visitors; I wonder how much they get through Adsense? Not to mention money from premium and donator memberships. Also he has added link to the four sites he is already running to the header of every page. He is 29 years old, he is married and has a kid with another on the way; how many of you actually think hes into graphics/sigs and anything else that GR is all about?! I highly doubt it, its a money thing, has nothing about the betterment of the community. Sorry just had to say it.

it is an investment, honestly lol. Who is going to fork over the kind of money it would take to buy this in order to just virtually throw that money away? Also, staff do NOT need to be involved in what the particular site is about, it does help, but its not required. Your ability to determine whether the comments are wrong or whether they are in the wrong area have no reliance that the given person needs to know about the sites. I dont think ive ever seen Llama or BiG_DaVe do graphics, and a few of the mods dont even touch graphics programs either. Experience in a given area that the site specifies is a good thing, but its not required for a mod to fulfill their duties, not to mention after hanging around a while at any community you get the hang of how things work and such...

There's no way. This site is large enough, that is has to be run on a pretty powerful dedicated box, which wuld cost.... $300-$400 /mo.
