Flashget = Flashgot?

Someone told me FlashGot is the firefox version of flashget..



FlashGet isn't warez is it?

 

FlashGot is a Firefox Extension that works with your download manager.

FlashGet is a Download Manager. FlashGet is free, if I remember correctly.

DDL is right, Flashgot is simply a firefox plugin that enables you to use Flashget with firefox downloads. It's on mozilla's site, so it's not warez.

Well...not quite...Flashget is a download manager. Flashgot allows you to use it with dl's from firefox. And to be honest, it really does speed up downloads.

edit: in a way...flashgot is a download manager..manager...it manages your download managers so they can be used in firefox. IIRC it's compatible with more than just flashget.

 

flashget isnt only for firefox. i use it with mozilla and i think it works for opera. i dont really notice the speeds because i just hit it to start downloading and its minimized and outa the way. whenever it finishes, it finishes. i just like the fact that it is hidden and outa your desktop and the little 'percent' graph it gives you on the top right of your screen so you know how far along it is.

 

Of course. Flashgot is for (Mozilla) Firefox.

 

FlashGet won't work for me, can someone teach me how to use? I right click and 'start all' and it doesn't work..

You click Job, New Download, type in the URL, and click OK. Simple enough.
