I think I saw a topic about this a few days ago but I can't find it now :P

I need to know how to enable hyperthreading. I have it enable in bios (I think) but not on my computer.

Go to: START --> Right Click on My Computer --> Properties --> Hardware --> Device Manager ... then scroll down to Processors ... when you click the + if 2 processors show up ... then you have it enabled.

If it is not enabled ... go into your computer BIOS (could have done this in the 1st place ... but it's your choice) and turn it on.

press "del" or "f1" as your computer starts up. look around in there...
also make sure your comp has hyperthreading... most northwoods didn't unless they were past 3.0Ghz...

Forgive my ignorance if I should know this already, but what exactly is hyperthreading, does it make my computer run better or something?
