Clean Boot

    1. Click Start, and then click Run.
    2. In the Open box, type msconfig, and then click OK.
    3. On the General tab, click Selective Startup.
    4. Under Selective Startup, click to clear the following check boxes:
    • Process SYSTEM.INI File
    • Process WIN.INI File
    • Load Startup Items
    5. On the Services tab, click to select the Hide All Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable All.
    6. Click OK, and then click Restart.

    ;)

    Could you tell me what this does?


    And if my comp wil go faster after it,...then maybe i'll do it.

    its so no little programs open up when you start up your computer, it made mine go a bit faster

    Its just taking away all programs that starts in the startup, it makes the startup go much faster.

    I wouldn't reccomend to stop all of the processes as some of the things you disable may be essential for your computer to startup like ctfmon.exe or your virus scanner. If you go to Start --> All Programs --> Startup and delete everything in the it will stop programs like iTunes and Quicktime from starting up, but it will still allow essential programs to run at startup.

    yeah i hate keyloggers someone put one on my computer i think it was one of my friends though

    i found n deleted it

    btw msn wont start up on the start up
