why the hell didn't you get a crossfire board? also there is no such thing as a pentium D core duo... a pentium D dual-core but there is a diference... core duos assrape the Pentium Ds... thought bang/$ they are behind the athlons... conroe will change that though...
Bah, you knew what I meant on the CPU Xelink See, I knew that was coming. Okay, well, to tell you the truth. I decided to get the SLi because when I got the board I was going to stick the x1900xtx on it then get two of the best SLi cards I could get and do that later on, then I decided this Radeon is kicking ass so I decided to run the one card setup. I knew that question would occur though. Heh I will be inline for a Conroe after they get them pretty stable later on.
You should have bought an AMD processor (since AMD owns Intel at gaming) and a crossfire motherboard for the same price from ASUS or DFI on newegg ... then just bought a crossfire card, since you already have a x1900 xtx (you do right?). Should have just waited though ... since new AMD and Intel processors are coming out very soon. ASUS one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813131004 DFI one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813136009
you should get dual x1900xtx OC'd...... yep... then u can give them to me.. yep.. but yea..you got a nice setup.. I know I have, and if I do again, say something about you in a hostile manner about ur system, its from jealousy probly xD
Ya ... that system still rocks ... and that board is awesome. I hear that the newer Pentium D's (like the one you have) overclock very nicely ... plus ... you have a good mobo to do it on as well.
