    uhh, thats a bit low-end...

    2gb of ram, am2, and 7900 wil work much better..

    In a couple days/weeks, they have am2 Semprons so they might use those or something.

    actually there will never be a maint streme latpop with AM2...

    check the turion X2s though, they are moreor less the same...

    you're bringin up an entirely diferent issue and if you look theought the thread, he's looking towards a laptop anyhow so a core duo or a turion x2 is a must, merom won't be realeased for another month past conroe and when you take into account moore's law the price performance ration isn't too out of whack given the time...

    i knew he wanted a laptop, but i didnt know for sure if what people have been saying has persuaded him.
