My site needed serious revamp so i made this this afternoon. Comments appreciated I realise it still needs some work but here it is anyway:
The layout is pritty nice and simple although I think in some places (navigation bar) you should play around with the gradients a little more and try and spice it up. I find adding some gradient layers over the top can make a big difference, then merge it once your happy with it. I like the sub-content boxes but i'm not sure the main introduction one, it doesn't look as proffesional, I dunno, i'm just not to sure about it. I think you need to use another colour because in some parts where there are large areas of grey the template is a little dull. I generally do like it though, good work.
thanks hydra; i'll do a second version with your advice. perhaps you could do a video tut on what u mean by adjusting the gradients because you have advised the same b4..
Actually, when I get some time, I might do a tutorial on gradients. I was thinking about it not long ago.
hmm i like the content area but i dont feel the banner at all but i guess u can easily change that. other than that it looks clean and simple 8/10 good job
that looks great. The only thing that I don't really like about it is the little search thing on the right of the banner. =/
