Calm down man. It's a valid comment. And if you've only started to do templates, how exactly do you know more than everyone else?

Everythings out of proportion, the spacing between elements in the layout changes too much and makes it look messy. The text in the latest news is too cramped up and the navigation buttons seem abit big. Other than that it's ok, i wouldn't call it beutiful though.

EDIT:Also people are sayin its very plain, thats the whole point, i wouldnt use it for my own site its more of a design for a free template/template selling site after some modifications, no were did i say it was graphicaly amazing and i dont mean any of this personaly just my thoughts
    Thanks

I'm sorry, but I think you need to read what I said again. 'I just think you need to slightly change the tone of the blue/violet whatever so it matches the pink better.'

I'm giving you adice, i'm trying to HELP you. I'm telling what I think looks wrong so that you can improve your design. I think you will find that I usually give quite good constructive critism.

I really like it. I think it's a matter of personal preference, though. Most of the people here seem to be dazzled by bright colours and trashy whorage of "GFX" stuff. I prefer things simple, as it makes it easier to navigate, and nicer to look at.

The pink and... slate (?)... go very nicely together - they make a good combination.

Actually, because I'm pressed for time, I'll just point out the one and only bad thing I can see in this template: The main text.

I'm talking the announcement text here, by the way - not your banner.

It would be much nicer if it was right aligned and done in Arial, possibly Arial Narrow.

However, apart from that little bit, the rest of the site is very, very nice.

    Good work.
