Do You Consider David Blane A Magician...

I consider him a stunt artist, dare devil, whatever you want to call him. not much of a magician though.

i love his street magic, even though i konw some of the tricks have the poeple in on it

I've seen some of his stuff. That last stunt was just plain stupid. I don't know why he'd subject himself to that just for a world record.

Some of the street magic stuff is pretty cool though. Being an illusionist is not a bad thing, just the big dangerous stunts are over the top.

 

David Blaine is a really good magician if u have seen his specials or movie. As for his stunts...i think he just wants to break records and stuff.

And guys like chris angel i think the tricks are fake and sometimes choppy but also he does do stunts like david blaine (ex. hanging on hooks pierced on his body from a helicopter).

I happen to think that he is a faggot who does these stunts to get attention but I also saw a thing on tv were he did a whole bunch of cool street magic things so that was magic but his stunts are pointless and homo

He does strange magic. Like pulling a head off a chicken and putting it back. Resurrecting a housefly after killing it. Its just cool when you were young

 

his street magic is cool. there's a site where you can buy his magic stuff. kinda expensive though.

 

I personally think that David Blaine is someone with amazing will power. In my opinion I think he attempts what he does so to test himself and test the very limits that have stood over all time. You can't honestly say that you are not in awe when he held his breath for the 7:20, can you do that? Can you even come close? I've lived next to the water all my life, swimming everyday during the summer. Yet the longest I have ever stayed under water is 2:30 area.

Call him what you will, but the fact remains that he is a incredible human being with incredible self-discipline. People are pulled towards someone who has a mysticism surrounding him, if all did were his street tricks (amazing none the less) then none of us would be talking about him. As it stands, when someone mentions modern day magic the first name you think of is David Blaine.

Oh and to the masochist "expert" telliing a internet forum about your previous mental instabilities is not the best idea. The shroud each of us wears on the internet is the only thing protecting yourself from ridicule and disgust.
