don't bother worrying everything get's outdated in time and as it is right now your card should be fine...
Man ... that thing is cheap for the performance it gets (outperforms 7900GT in most occasions) ... I remember just a little while ago when those cards were about $400. Buy it, I have an x850 XT PE, which isn't even as good as that card and I can still play everthing on maximum.
i can play almost anything on max with my x800gto CoD2 CSS Postal2 Black and White 2 Battlefield 2 The Battle for Middle-earth II Half-life 2 UT2004 all maxed Only game that isnt, FEAR. It's possible to max it out, it just has very low FPS
Yeah, I am not sure when Dx10 will be released but like all other releases, it will come out soon enough for the other Windows machines. There should be a patch for it after initial debugging on the first couple systems. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
