Photoshop Colours

    In photoshop (version CS8)
    The brushes colours don't sort of work...
    With a white background (colours are set to black and white, white background and black forground.) Nothing appears, even if i switch the colours, but when i have a black background, only white brush strokes appear. Anyone know how to fix it?

    make sure you are in rbg, not grayscale..

    Also, make sure the brush setting is on Normal. (that settings is to the right of where u choose which brush to use in the toolbar.....ya)

    Photoshop CS is version 8...
    Photoshop CS2 is version 9...

    no i mean, theres cs and cs2 not cs8. he should have said ps 8, or cs ( v 8 ) he had me confuesed :D

    i had the same problem before but it turned out i had it in grayscale

    That's must be the problem...the greyscale
