Sli ?

Heyy guys,

I have a ASUS A8N-SLI Premium mainboard, with a 7800GTX but how does SLI actually works ? Is it just click the second card in put the brigde onto them and go '?

Yes, so you have dual GPU, but for the sli you have to set the nvidia sli bridge and plug in an extra power supply cable.

BTW: If you are going to use it, make sure you have 2 identical cards and its ONLY usefull if you use high resolutions, AA , AS etc..

sell the card, buy two 7900GTs and SLi, it will be cheaper.

 

Or just buy one 7900gtx.

 

which doesn't cut it compared to two 7900GTs... while costing about the same..

two 7600GTs outdop a single 7900GTX
