Windows Media Player 11

Hey, I downloaded windows media player 11, but it said I must download rollup2 for microsoft windows media center, so i download rollup2 then i cant install it because it says i have to install .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 so i download that, but then it says

Download winamp pro its much better.

 

i think i will lol, it's just i wanted to see what W11 looked like

 

Download service pack 2.

 

You need the next .NET Framework and you need Service Pack 2. I suggest getting that wether you are going to use WMP 11 or not. Because, it has a lot more security and some added features. So, you should keep upgrading .NET and get to Service Pack 2.

 

^^Ditto with AKW. It might be that you need to download the 2.0 of .NET Framework and also the Service Pack 2 of Windows XP. If you have these both items in Version 1 or Pack 1, download the newer ones.

 

make sure you also have the updated windows installer. just run microsoft update and it will sort it out for you.

LMAO... no, service pack 2 is just that, a service pack. The version is 2. No more no less just to take care of some issues with software, with hardware, viruses, bugs, and some other things. Especially security. So, get SP2 ASAP. It's good to have. It wont make your computer have MCE edition Pro, hehe. Sorry..

Damn cant use it. COUGH COUGH xp pro copy.

 

its sweet. takes a bunch of ram... usually equal or more with itunes, and has a really sleek design. nice sorting features, takes a little time to load, but a fast computer would breeze through it. i suggest this to anyone who likes a nice design to their media player.

ps. i have a copy also and i got it... im just... better.
