Installing Fonts In Ps Cs

    Hey , i have installed the font and everything , but when i go down the scrolling list in PS , the font isn't there .
    Others fonts that i ahve installed works , but the new ones i installed dosen't and i have rebooted my computer and whatever i can think of to make it work .
    HELP ! :( .

    did you put it into: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts

    Doesnt have to always be there. Check the actual fonts folder under C:\WINDOWS\Fonts make sure all the fonts are there. if not install them in. Then make sure they installed and boot up PS and find them.

    Yeah, go through the Control Panel and access the Font folder and install it there. Also, keep looking around, it may show up as a different name, yes, it is a pain in the ass. It has happened to me before though. >.<

    Yep do that :)

    You dont have to place your fonts in adobe/fonts folder OR even the windows/fonts folder

    You can make your own folder say on your backup drive and then go into control panel>Fonts then file 'Install New font' = Untick copy fonts to font folder and browse wherever you got the font in place :)

    Select and install - Thats it :)

    Tried it all , but it still dosen't work :/ .

    could be at the very bottom of the list... happened to my when i installed new fonts.

    Try opening the installed font file, you should see heaps of "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog"'s
    Once you have viewed the inside of the file, try looking for it in the photoshop menu.
    This always works for me, and the fonts never appear on their own, I always have to use the method above.

    \Did you install the fonts when you had PS open?
    If you did then Restart Photoshop...That happened to me b4.
