Firefox Help

    My firefox keeps on reseting, like, all my bookmarks are gone, and my theme is gone etc. Any way to stop it/ get my bookmarks back (couse I save all my tuts that Ive bought there....)?

    1) You don't bump something the same day that it was posted, ok?

    2) Make sure you arent switching profiles. I'm on Mozilla (not Firefox), but for me it's 'Tools -> Switch Profile...' Try that and make sure you're on the right one.

    Johns sumwhat right, but its this for firefox:
    Start->Run
    'firefox -p' without quote marks o'course

    then select which one u want...

    when I type that in it just opens a new window of firefox...

    yes, i does the same thing with mozilla if you substitue the 'firefox' part of 'firefox -p' with 'mozilla -p'.

    h/o, ima download firefox to try to help you. ill edit this when i know what to do.

    This has happened to many people, me including. If you want to get your favorites back then simply go to "C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<Default Profile Here>\bookmarkbackups"
    They should be there, and as for the reason this is happening its becuase youre having an instance where two firefoxs are running but one cant be used and you think its just not opening, so it asks you to make a new profile thus reseting all your stuff. To make sure this doesnt happen again when/if it asks you to create a new profile when you think ff just isnt opening, ctrl+atl+del and end all the firefoxs you see.
