Need Some Help !

    on my computer running windows xp

    when i go into my computer and then in the address bar i type "c" i get a huge list of files, some of which have been deleted or some that i dont want people seeing anyway i was wondering if any of you knew how to get rid of these file addresses ??

    please someone help !

    even when the files are deleted there still in that list !

    Don't worrie they won't bite you.... Probably a worm dunno

    I will give an advice...

    FORMAT the Hard Drive... And use a good firewall and antivirus

    Download ccleaner, run it, select things u want removed.

    If you mean you don't want your family to see them, go to Control Panel, make your user account Password Protected, then a box comes up that asks if you want to hide you files from other users. Click "Yes"

    Do you guys have any clue about what he is meaning? Apparently not.

    I'm guessing you mean when you open up explorer.exe (like My Computer or My Documents) and you type 'C' it is showing stuff like 'FILE://FILE_NAME_HERE' or it's showing 'C:\FILE_NAME_HERE', eh? If so, open up Internet Explorer go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Then hit 'Clear History'
