it was a kick ass movie! but did you guys got the hint in the ending that this might be the last mission impossible movie? or is it just a way of saying there will be a new ethan hunt? :)

this is an awesome movie, tons of action suspence, drama, even a little bit of comedy, it has you on the edge of your seat and its not predictable at all, best movie so far of 2006 IMO.

Fantastic movie-- I'd give it 3 out of 4 stars. I give most of the credit to J.J Abrams though

1st: tom as we know is married and getting old. (he's 40+ i think)
2nd: in the movie he got married and at the end they still got back together
3rd: the ending was ethan leaveing the building and everyone clapping like a form of saying goodbye and goodluck with your new life. :)

True then again They are making a 4th Indiana Jones movie and the script is almost finished being revised and Harrison Ford is starring as Indy and he is 40 or even 50+ so who knows.

I saw this a few days ago. It was... okay.

Yeah, sure, awesome action scenes/acting. But the plot and stuff is basically the same as the other Mission Impossible movies.

I think it was ok too... The action scenes are awesome but the story is simple and I had a "Déjà-vu" sensation...

    P.S. 8/10 maybe

this review was just enough to push me over the edge, alot of my buddies told me "you gotta check it out!" and i was a bit hesitant cause the only decent theater by me is about 30 miles away... but i think i'll go check it out this weekend, nice review by the way

I still cant stay awake for the second or third movie all the way through...

As for M:I:III, well... what could I have expected? The whole series minus the first one is completely wack, the capability for that to be realistic goes down drastically in the second and third ones. Thats what the second movie in the series lead me to believe would be happening for the rest of the series, and thats what I got. Unrealistic action. I mean, if your into unrealistic action and such, this movie is all for you, but I personally only enjoy action movies when they are realistic (like most of the old Bond movies, a couple of the recent ones were just... stupid... for lack of better words) or something along those lines. If I want unrealistic action, I can take it another click further on the scale and go watch the origional Matrix, atleast that can keep me interested with its relavence to christians form of the Christ and some theories I wouldnt have thought of on my own...

If your a fan of fake action like the Matrix series and such, youll like this movie, if your a fan of realistic action, you probably wont like this movie all too much. I personally feel my $9.00 is better spent on watching 'See No Evil' and 'The Hills Have Eyes' repeatadly (and ive seen both about 3 times in the theatres with different friends).
