It shows, templates are large pieces and deserve your time and effort to be spent on them, all you have there is some blank boxes, some scanlines, and a banner... thats like 5 minutes worth of work.

    This isnt finished yet.

I am also going for the simplistic look, not like all out and crazy.

There is also going to be lots of javascript and stuff, like image rollovers etc.
Plus this is being coded for Joomla! CMS, which is my favorite around, which will have menus and stuff.

Im planning on woking on this tomorrow after my history project.

    Now, im off to bed.
    g'nite

ah, well you should have said it was a WIP and I wouldnt have been up front and rude about you only spending 30 minutes on something that should have multiple hours if not days (including finding inspiration, testing layouts, etc.) worth.

it could still use a look similar to like a forum layout on vB (since vB is big into the JS type stuff, such as the main nav bar), just a recommendation :D.

Nothing special, in fact it's bad, work on it coz only content boxes and this thing that we should call "banner" suck.

    Oof?
    Can't stand that reply.

Just because your going for the simple look doesnt mean it has to be boring. If your spending 30 mins on a temp your result is never going to be anything special, or even good with the large majority of people. Spend more time on it.

#1-If its made in 30 minutes, dont bother showing us, you will probably no the replies you get when you work on a 30 minute template

#2-You should tell us if its a wip, because if its not then i have to say it looks bad right now.

#3-Do you even no how to code? by the looks of that html code it looks like you dont.

There are some coding errors. The CSS background is fixed and, when you scroll down, the scanlines go out of sync. you should also learn that if you want an awesome template you need to spend lots of time on it.
