for the money spent, you'd be best off getting a new PCI-e motherboard(say 80$ or so depending), and getting this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814131425 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814102684 or this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814130283 yes it's a little more $$$ in the end, but your scaleability is drastcally increased
how is it a waste to spend 20$ more and to have a real upgrade route for the future? especially if it was a stoe boguth computer with a ---- motherboard to begin with EDIT: you have a 478/9 proc? if you did it shoudl give you the lesson of never going with a monopolistic profit driven monopoly
unless he gets a PCI-e slot he can't another reason to swap motherboards. jus sell the old oen to someone with a dell or something
this post was made about which card i should get not a about a freaking mobo the mobo i have is prefeatly fine
I have a x850 pro and I cant play bf2 on maxed settings for some reason. Maybe it's my agp aperature size.
ok well you should get a PCI-e card fin it's not that muc more expensive after you consider the fact that AGP costs 40% more, AND that you can sell your old motherboard on ebay or something.
oh, i forgot he didnt have pci e. omg dude upgrade. dont even think about upgrading your video card to an AGP. PCI e is the present and future. it'll be stupid for you to sepnd money on AGP.
